Mountain Fire Recovery
On Wednesday, November 6, 2024 the Mountain Fire caused significant damage to our avocado orchard and burned our home to the ground. Since then our team has been tirelessly working to rebuild and replace everything that was damaged.

The upper block was completely destroyed and has been replanted. Further down the hill trees are being rehabilitated. Surviving trees have fruit and we are hopeful for the future.

The Recovery
Destroyed trees were cut down and replaced. Damaged trees were cut to a skeleton and painted white to reflect the damaging hot sunlight. Signs of new growth and life are abundant.
