Ridgecrest Avocados looks to the future to find new and innovative ways to keep the natural ecosystem of the land healthy and vibrant. In 2023 we began bee cultivation with great success!
Plans include the use of drought tolerant rootstock, adding water preserving dripper systems, and continuing our commitment to not use any chemical pest control on the trees.
I sent avos and meyer lemons to friends in NYC to brighten their winter. They were so excited to have a taste of sunshine from CA. The Avos were delicious and so were the lemons! We made meyere whiskey cocktails and yogurt lemon cakes. We ate avocado toast, and tacos for days. SO GOOD! A perfect gift.
I think this box of fruits and vegetables is the absolute perfect gift! I’ve sent them all over into multiple clients. It’s like a box of sunshine!
On Wednesday, November 6, 2024 the Mountain Fire caused significant damage to our orchard and burned our home to the ground. Since then we have been busy rehabilitating the orchard trees and infrastructure.
We just passed six months since the fire date and we are happy to share that the irrigation system has been rebuilt, damaged trees have been rehabilitated, and all destroyed trees have been replaced with new young trees.
Although not all items will initially be available, we plan to reopen online sales effective June 1, 2025.
Your business means everything to us.
