Ridgecrest Avocados looks to the future to find new and innovative ways to keep the natural ecosystem of the land healthy and vibrant. In 2023 we began bee cultivation with great success!
Plans include the use of drought tolerant rootstock, adding water preserving dripper systems, and continuing our commitment to not use any chemical pest control on the trees.
I sent avos and meyer lemons to friends in NYC to brighten their winter. They were so excited to have a taste of sunshine from CA. The Avos were delicious and so were the lemons! We made meyere whiskey cocktails and yogurt lemon cakes. We ate avocado toast, and tacos for days. SO GOOD! A perfect gift.
I think this box of fruits and vegetables is the absolute perfect gift! I’ve sent them all over into multiple clients. It’s like a box of sunshine!
On Wednesday November 6th the Mountain Fire caused significant damage to our orchard and property. Until we take more time to assess and rebuild infrastructure, we have removed all inventory from all sales channels. Not all of the orchard was destroyed, therefore, we anticipate avocado sales to resume in March 2025.
